1. Preventive Care (The Foundation of Dental Health)

This is the most important category, aimed at preventing problems before they start.

Regular Check-ups & Cleanings (Prophylaxis): Typically recommended every 6 months. Includes examination, professional cleaning to remove plaque/tartar, and oral cancer screening. Ciara our experienced dedicated hygienist is here with us since 2018 and will look after all your gum health. Susanne, Mohammad or Hannah perform oral health exams usually on a six-monthly or twelve-monthly basis.

2. Restorative Treatments (Fixing Problems)

Fillings: Used to treat cavities. Materials include tooth-coloured composite resin, silver-coloured amalgam or porcelain.

Root Canal Therapy (Endodontics): Treats infected or inflamed tooth pulp (the inner nerve tissue). This saves a tooth that would otherwise need extraction. We often refer complex cases to specialist endodontists.

3. Treatments for Gum Health

Scaling and Root Planing: A deep cleaning for gum disease (periodontitis). Involves removing plaque and tartar from below the gumline and smoothing the tooth roots. Ciara our hygienist provides this treatmenrt.

4. Surgical Procedures

Extractions: Removal of a tooth that is too damaged or decayed to save.

5. Orthodontics (Braces & Aligners):

Corrects crooked teeth and misaligned bites. John Meares (practice limited to orthodontics) provides orthodontic treatment for children and teenagers.

6. Tooth Whitening

We can provide you with upper and lower whitening trays with different whitening strengths. This works very well for patients to get that glistening smile!

7. Dentures

We take impressions or scans to make acrylic or cobalt chrome dentures.
