John Meares B.A. B. Dent. Sc(Dentist)

John qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1996. He worked in London and Kent for 6 years before returning to Ireland to work at 44 Connaught Street when his father retired. John is a member of the I.D.A. and attends conferences and courses regularly.

John limits his practice to orthodontic work.

Susanne Kelleher B.D.S N.U.I. (Dentist)

Susanne qualified from UCC in 2000. She worked in Essex and London for 5 years before joining John to work in Athlone. Susanne regularly attends courses to update her knowledge.

Susanne concentrates on general dentistry and she is also a member of the IDA.

Eimear Casey (Hygienist)

Eimear is the newest edition to our dental team. Eimear joined Bastion Court Dental Practice in July 2009. She qualified as a nurse in 2001 where she developed an interest in dental hygiene Eimear graduated as a dental hygienist & won the Sensodyne award in 2009.

Ann Marie Mannion (Nurse/Recepionist)

Ann Marie is the longest running member of the dental team and has been working in the practice for over 10 years. Ann Marie started with John’s father in 2000 and has recently obtained a NEBDN certificate in dental nursing.

Ann Marie is our headnurse and oversees the book-keeping in our practice.

Georgina West (Nurse/Recepionist)

Georgina  joined the practice in 2006 having worked in Dublin for 3 years. She obtained a certificate in dental nursing in the Dublin dental hospital in 2003.

Georgina is in charge of overseeing and verifying the sterilization processes in our practice.

Sarah Costello (Nurse/Recepionist)

Sarah  qualified as a dental nurse in Dublin Dental Hospital in June 2006 and joined us shortly after.

Sarah is our technology expert as computers are her forte.

Cheryl Clarke (Work Experience)

Cheryl is undertaking 9 months work experience. She is partaking in the Jobbridge Programme and we are delighted to have the additional help and  also to provide Cheryl with some training.
